Weekly Class For Noahides
What We’re Studying
Each week we study the Weekly Torah Portion for the first half of class, finding unique practical insights for everyday living from an authentic, rational, and spiritual Torah perspective; followed by our Oral Torah section in our study of Mishneh Torah – Book of Knowledge – Laws of Character Traits; with time, a review of world events in science and politics, and questions on Noahide halakhah!
Who’s Teaching The Class
The class is taught by Rabbi Michael S. Bar-Ron, founder and head of Beth Midrash Ohel Moshe in Beit Shemesh, Israel, and author of Guide For the Noahide.
Rabbi Bar-Ron is a 6th generation Israeli, a Hebrew-speaking rabbi, and head of Beth Midrash Ohel Moshe in Beit Shemesh, Israel. An ardent understudy of Sephardic and Yemenite teachers, he provides a pure Rambam/Talmud-based perspective that is free from the trappings of the Diaspora mentality and pseudo-kabbalah, imbuing lessons with practicality and authentic spirituality – an approach to Torah you won’t get outside the Land of Israel. With his academic background in Biological Anthropology, he integrates cutting-edge science and history into his teachings, all in light of current events. Thanks to his American upbringing, world travels, and friendships with Noahides, he has a keen understanding and sensitivity to the needs of Noahides.
